Join us for Storytime in the Big Red Barn on Wednesdays 7/12 – 8/30 from 10 am – 11 am

Families are welcome – Ages 3 – 8
$5.00 for each morning
Come join us for an interactive story hour. We will read a story and talk about nature, and our surroundings each week. Books and activities will be a different theme each week. We’ll read and learn about: planting seeds, insects, smelling herbs, bird watching, composting, harvesting, apple trees, pigs, and exploring textures.
Families are welcome to stay after storytime is done. Please feel free to bring a lunch and enjoy an outside afternoon! Picnic tables, and fresh mint or lemon water will be available each week.
Wednesday, 30 August: This week is all about apple trees! We’ll read a story to discover, do you really know how apples grow? We’ll walk over, and explore Fox Haven’s very own apple trees. A compost expert will answer kids questions about apple trees, and we’ll make a snack using different types of apples. Students will get to pick a few apples, and bring them home. Please feel free stay for lunch and enjoy the picnic tables outside at the big red barn. Cold mint water will be provided.
Please contact Joelle at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up. We would love to see any and everyone!
