Join Chef Helena Keeffe del Pesco for a hands-on 5 course brunch celebrating the complex flavors of seeds and their fruit.
From the exceedingly intricate reproduction system of corn to the story of how the fish pepper seed was traded for a bee venom remedy, seeds will take us on a delicious journey.
Participants will have the opportunity to co-create this tactile and taste experience with plants from Fox Haven’s wild and farmed flora.
Brunch will be held in the barn at Fox Haven.

Helena Keeffe del Pesco works with wild, cultivated and feral ingredients to create meals that tell stories. Her interest in indigenous ingredients, persistent curiosity about alimentary histories, and belief in the transformative potential of people coming together at a table have led her to cook at restaurants, museums and art galleries in Mexico City, San Juan Puerto Rico, Tel Aviv, San Francisco and Paris. She received her Masters in Art Practice from UC Berkeley and is currently attending the Centro Ashé herbal medicine apprenticeship in southern Maryland. She lives in Baltimore.
