Refund Policy
· All class ticket sales are considered a donation to Fox Haven and help us to fulfill our mission. Full refunds (minus a 20% processing fee) will be given to any participant canceling at least 30 days prior to the scheduled class date. Due to the nature of full series commitments, no refunds will be processed once the series has started.
· Enrollment cannot be transferred to another class. If you are within the 30-day cancellation period, it is best to request a refund and sign up for the desired replacement.

This event is designed to provide a safe and inclusive space for queer individuals to gather, celebrate their identities, and immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world among a supportive, newfound friends. Students will learn pinning techniques and will be able to go home with one-of-a-kind creations they have made in class. *Insects used in this class have been collected after they have deceased naturally. | 2 events, -  Join us in the herb garden for a hands-on experience picking your own herbs. This monthly offering is designed to introduce you to the growing cycle of plants. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to harvest up to 5 bundles of herbs that are ripe and ready! A farmer will be onsite to guide -  Tour the Garden and tea tasting with Fox Haven staff and learn about the plants that are ripe for harvest. From the ferny plant that made Absinthe to the root that made the first marshmallow to the flower that stops bleeding – we’ll tour the stories and senses that fill our garden. Nick Spero joins us to introduce us to some of his favorite wild edibles in the late Spring – Cattail and Milkweed – for a foodie-focused month of Foragers. Cyanotypes are one of the oldest photographic printing processes in the history of photography. Using coated paper and light, this process creates detailed plant prints surrounded by a stunning deep blue backdrop. In this workshop, you'll have the chance to gather plants -  Wooden utensils are so much more user-friendly on all types of cookware and even more fun to use when made by your hands! Learn to carve a basic spoon from your choice of Black Cherry or Black Walnut using splitting, carving, and sanding tools. Everyone will leave with their own coconut oil-sealed spoon. All materials |

Fox Haven Farm joins forces with over 25 BIPOC teachers, practitioners, and business owners to host BIPOC Wellness Day, a celebration for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to commune, collaborate, and revitalize Free -  In this 2 1/2 hour session, Association of Nature and Forest Therapy trained guide Monica Wenzel, will guide you through sensory invitations to help you slow down, awaken your senses, and reconnect with nature. About LandBack Tax
From 2022 onward, Fox Haven will donate $2 from each event ticket to the Piscataway Conoy Tribe to pay LandBack tax, acknowledging our access to stolen Indigenous land. Through Piscataway Eyes is an Indigenous-led initiative working to restore ancestral land and sovereignty to the Piscataway and other Indigenous communities of the Chesapeake.
Weather Policy
If inclement weather is predicted ahead of an event, you will be notified 48 hours before the event date about any cancellation or rescheduling. Otherwise, the event is presumed to take place rain or shine. An alternative venue may be arranged if shelter is required. Please note that refunds are not provided for postponed events or no-shows. However, if Fox Haven cancels, a full refund will be issued.
COVID Protocol
Please do not come to class if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to others who are sick. Email alecks@foxhavenfarm.org to discuss your absence. Masks are optional during all events. If diagnosed with COVID within 5 days post-class, please notify us so that we can inform participants about possible exposure.
