Nature Sound Bath with Lauren Dodge [SOLD OUT]

September 18, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Come immerse yourself in a rejuvenating sound bath and tea ceremony. Using crystal and/or brass singing bowls, this 70 minute experience utilizes frequency, vibration and stillness to create a meditative and relaxing environment–promoting a sense of calm and peace. This sound journey will enable you to enter a deep, alpha-theta brainwave state, in which healing is stimulated at the cellular level for a therapeutic and transformational experience. The sound bath will conclude with a mini tea ceremony to nourish and re-integrate the spirit with the body.

*PLEASE BRING YOUR FAVORITE MUG, and a Yoga Mat with you on the day of the class.

Beginning in 2022, Fox Haven will pay $2 from every ticket sale to the Piscataway Land Trust as a LandBack tax for the land Fox Haven inhabits. Land taxes to indigenous nations function similarly to paying rent or a home mortgage. Payments such as a mortgage provide access to living space, whereas LandBack taxes recognize our access to stolen Indigenous land.

The Piscataway Land Trust is a long-term Indigenous-led effort led by the 501(c)(3) Cedarville Band of Piscataway Indians Inc. to restore and rematriate ancestral land and sovereignty in the Chesapeake region to Piscataway and other Chesapeake Indigenous people.
