COVID Protocol

  1. Please do not come to class if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to people in your life who are sick. Please contact so we can discuss how to handle your absence.
  2. Masks are optional during outdoor events. We will maintain 6 feet social distance at all times. If you are not vaccinated, we request that you please wear a mask during outdoor events. Everyone is required to wear masks indoors, this includes our barn and dairy parlor.
  3. Before and after class, Fox Haven will sanitize any surfaces used. Hand Sanitizer will be available during class, and sanitizing/hand washing will be encouraged before class and after breaks, before preparing plants and tastings.
  4. When we have tastings, we will spread out to the best of our ability. Maintaining at least 6 feet apart is required.

**On Nov. 26, Fox Haven will open registration for the 2022 Foraging Level 1 & 2 programs. Participants meet once a month, and each class focuses on a new herb or wild edible that’s in season. These classes are in high demand and tend to fill quickly. Click here to join our waitlist if you would like to be the first to know when tickets go live!

Fall Forest Bathing with A Greener Mind

October 30 @ 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

In this 2 1/2 hour session, Association of Nature and Forest Therapy trained guide and A Greener Mind founder, Josh Schwartz, will guide you through sensory invitations to help you slow down, awaken your senses, and reconnect with nature.

About A Greener Mind

A Greener Mind was founded to help people discover the restorative power of nature therapy. More and more our daily lives are full of noise, screens, and frenetic energy without any ability to pause or any outlet to the natural outdoors.

A Greener Mind offers a solution to engage with the natural world through forest bathing – intentional walks guided to connect to the natural world through the senses. The mission for each individual is simple:

-to hold the space you need to quieten your overworked mind;

-to deepen your connection to nature;

-to improve your overall well-being.

Forest Bathing

This method is inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, which has proven mental and physical health benefits. To learn more about Forest Bathing, please visit
