Introduction to Nordic Walking in Nature with Anna Poddar

Join us for fun, fitness, friends, and fresh air in this introduction to Nordic walking session through the trails at Fox Haven. Nordic walking uses two specially designed poles to work the upper body while walking (like cross country skiing). The poles are used by the arms to match each step taken. This low-impact workout increases your endurance, strengthens your core, arms, chest, back, buttocks, and legs, improves your posture and flexibility and it takes stress off your ankle, knee and hip joints. If you are new to Nordic Walking, then this is where you will start.
Vaccinations are required to enjoy a safe, mask-free social environment outdoors as we respect and practice COVID precautions.
A minimum of six registered participants is required per class for the series to go ahead for the season. We will have no more than 10 participants during each class. Poles will be provided! RSVP is required to attend.
